Recognition of Outstanding Delegates at International Model UN Conference Trade for Peace.

 

The JSS Law College (Autonomous), in partnership with the Institute of Legal and Policy Research, takes immense pleasure in extending warm congratulations to the exceptional delegates who have demonstrated outstanding performance at the International Model UN Conference Trade for Peace. These delegates have been recognized for their exemplary skills and contributions throughout the conference.

The selection criteria for identifying the best delegates were based on various factors, each carrying a specific weightage:

·        Position Paper (20%): The quality and depth of the delegates' position papers were evaluated, demonstrating their understanding of the assigned country's stance on the agenda items.

·        General Speakers List Speech (10%): The effectiveness and persuasiveness of the delegates' speeches during the General Speakers List sessions were taken into consideration.

·        Involvement in Moderated Caucuses and Overall Input (15%): Active participation in moderated caucuses, as well as overall contributions to discussions and debates, were assessed.

·        Lobbying (15%): The delegates' efforts in lobbying for their country's interests and building alliances were evaluated.

·        Speaking Abilities and General Command (5%): The delegates' proficiency in public speaking and their command over the topics were considered.

·        Overall Knowledge of Issues (5%): The breadth and depth of the delegates' knowledge regarding the conference topics and their implications were reviewed.

·        Resolution Writing and Documentation (25%): The delegates' competence in drafting resolutions and ensuring accurate documentation of proceedings were scrutinized.

·        Working Papers (10%): The delegates' collaboration in formulating and refining working papers was assessed.

·        Resolution (10%): The quality and effectiveness of the final resolution proposed by the delegates were examined.

·        Amendments (5%): The delegates' ability to propose relevant and impactful amendments to resolutions was considered.

Based on these criteria, the following delegates stood out as the best performers:
